An Arizona gun store owner said he will not sell weapons to customers who voted for Obama.

The owner of an Arizona gun store said he will not sell weapons to customers who voted for President Obama because “you have proven that you are not responsible enough to own a firearm.”

        No doubt the weapon was purchased for home/self defense. We can hope it never needs to be used. However, mere possession of a gun is inadequate. Your wife should practice,and become comfortable with it/ Some, (including myself) find that is more difficult to become proficient using DAO revolvers.

  and I have news for you – no business has the right to refuse service to anyone without a reason and perhaps even a court order. Otherwise – there are a lot of businesses that would refuse service to anyone with a disability – you know the ADA law that is closing business that have been in business for years before the stupid law that requires them at their own expense to modify their structure to accommodate the fat and wheelchair bound. Refuse service and you could very easily find yourself in a lawsuit that will cost far more than your abiding anger at Obama being re-elected.

    Refusing service based on ADA is one thing, telling someone they are not welcome on your property is something else. He has every right to tell them to stay the hell off his property. Ever heard of “no shoes, no sirts no service”?, How about “No brains you voted for BHO, stay out!”.

    I am sorry but the ADA does not apply in this instance and the shop owner does have the Right to refuse service to anybody he/she determines does not meet his.her standards for service.
    This in not a racist issue nor a discrimination issue as the shop owner is simply stating anybody that voted for Obama, which means Blacks, Whites,Hispanics, able bodied or disabled,

    He can refuse service to anyone who he chooses too since he is not discriminating against a defined class.
    If you are so sure of yourself, file the suit yourself and see how far it gets you. Especially in a RED state where you have to prove you’re mentally stable before buying a firearm. There’s no easy way a Democrat could do that in a court in AZ.

    Actually any business can and do refuse service to anyone they wish but there is a catch. You do not give a reason beyond we do not wish to do business with you. Why? Because we do not want to. And you leave it at that.

I TOTALLY agree with this decision, elections have consequences. You cannot expect to vote for restricted liberty, higher taxes and recession and then expect to not experience the things you supported. Obama is known to be anti-second amendment so those who support him should voluntarily give up their right. They should also pay higher taxes because they support higher taxation, in fact they should have their entire paycheck, if they are lucky enough to have a job, and redistributed to whom ever their idol chooses. Unfortunately people are shielded from the dumb choices they make, that should change and will change in the next 4 years. I hope the rest of us can survive liberal stupidity.

Nowhere on the sign does it say “We wont sell to someone who voted for obama”, it says
“your business is not welcome”. No discrimination, but a very clever business owner I’d
say. Bet he/she is smiling all the way to the bank, good for him/her!!

The owner might want to offer a nice discount to anyone showing a voter registration card
from the repub party or independent party, constitution party or whatever party but not offer it to someone who holds a demo card. Eh?
