Jay Carney: Obama ‘Committed to the Second Amendment’

Obama’s well-groomed lapdog Jay Carney insisted to reporters that the President is “committed to the 2nd Amendment”:

 “First of all, the president of the United States believes that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual’s right to bear arms…He has been explicit about this…And throughout his time in office he has made clear that he believes we ought to take commonsense and enact commonsense measures that protect our Second Amendment rights but prevent people who should not have weapons from obtaining them. So his commitment to the Second Amendment I think is very clear.”

 No, he’s not committed to the 2nd Amendment. He’s committed to its destruction. No matter what he or Pelosi say, gun control measures are not “protecting and defending” Americans. Pelosi stated that she took an oath to “protect and defend.” She took an oath to support and defend the Constitution, not people. That means that she promised when she took office to uphold citizens’ Constitutional rights, and that includes the 2nd Amendment.

Of course, it’s all about the children. Senator Patrick Leahy, a Democrat from Vermont said before an audience of Georgetown law students that in his home state, they restrict the number of rounds a person can have in his semi-auto rifle for deer hunting:

 “[A]bout the only gun law we have in Vermont is during deer season. If you have a semiautomatic, you can’t have more than six rounds in it. Are we really, as a nation, saying we’re going to be more protective of the deer than we are of our children? I think not.”

    I would rather they stand up and tell the truth. He should say”MR Obama does not spp[ort the 2nd amendment, he wishes a national resistry on all guns, ammunition, and accessories. Eventual goal is confiscation of all weapons/ elimination of ammunition availability”. I would respect him more if he was truthful, nut then he is a politician

    If barry is so completely dedicated to 2nd Amendment,why all the False Flags,like Fast and Furious and Sandy Hook that was basically a movie with actors ??? The truth is he’s dedicated to destroy our 2nd Amendment . We should make Sandy Hook be his and his cohorts Waterloo .It was done sloppier then Fast and Furious .

      Now that you mention it, Tod, he did show commitment to arming Mexican drug cartels. Perhaps, he thinks disarming law-abiding Americans balances things out.

    In order for Jay Carney to keep his job he’s required to regurgitate whatever spiel the obama WH tells him to. It has nothing to do with what Jay Carnival has to say nor to the truth. If obama says that he fully supports the 2nd Amendment rights of all Americans, it really means that he doesn’t and that he will attack them with all his political power. The man is adept at saying one thing and actually meaning and doing the opposite. How about no new taxes, obamacare will lower healthcare costs, a green technology boom that will create thousands upon thousands of new jobs and on and on? So far, he has pumped billions to his fat cat friends, and is now intent upon gutting the military as a source of more funds to put down rat holes, neutering the 2nd amendment rights of all of us, and once that is done, he will work to actually realize his plan of becoming dictator. He is pushing the nation closer and closer to revolt, civil unrest, civil war and/or similar cataclysmic events that will precipitate his declaration of a national emergency. Expect martial law and cessation of elections. He will rule by decree and his enemies will be punished. Just remember that after the Reichstag fire Hitler had total control of Germany within 38 days. If you are not scared, you should be.
