The Economy is a Lot Worse Than You Think

Most Americans know the economy is in bad shape even if a majority voted to reelect the man most responsible for making a bad economy worse. And, no, it was not George W. Bush who is responsible for the 2008 financial crash. It was the government with its housing programs that encouraged giving mortgage loans to those who could not afford them and then bundling those “toxic assets”, and selling them to banks who then found themselves in trouble for investing in them.

Another partner in the nation’s financial woes has been the Federal Reserve, a banking cartel given the right to literally print money. The Fed recently released the fact that its holdings in U.S. government debt has increased by 257 percent since President Obama took office! Those holdings are at an all-time record of $1,696,691,000,000 at the close of business on Wednesday, January 23. The other major holder of our debt is China at $1,170,100,000.000.

It’s worth taking a few minutes to see how the policies of President Obama, whether a deliberate effort to ruin the economy or just the result a lack of understanding of how the U.S. economy works, has put the U.S. on the precipice of failure comparable to what is occurring in Europe. It is a global, as well as national problem as the central banks of the EU desperately transfer billions among themselves to stave off a catastrophe that will destroy the wealth of their citizens.

The federal government ran a deficit (the difference between what it owes and what revenues it takes in) of $292 billion for the first two months of fiscal year 2013—October and November 2012—amounting to $4.8 billion of borrowed money every day. The Congressional Budget Office reported that federal revenues rose by $30 billion—a ten percent increase over last year—but spending increased even more, going up by $87 billion (16%).

Let us not forget however that there is more than enough money to pay the bills. Period. The marxist like to scare people that we will go into default which is a blatant lie. Time to cut the hand outs to the generational welfare class. The only people that should be getting sustained help from the government are Seniors, Vets and the Truly Disabled. This does not include minorities with litters of children.

  That is true for now, but eventually that will not be the case and we will not have the money to pay the bills. The time to reverse this is now, and a lot of before now. I’m afraid that the only way we will change things is with a major revolution. I don’t want that to have to be the case, but it sure seems like it is going to come to that.

Washington is the new Boomtown. Boomtowns throughout history have been because something was produced. Oil, gold, computer tech, etc. Washington produces nothing but debt and pays for it with your hard earned dollars.

Nine of the richest counties in America are in and around Washington, D.C. 70,000 private jets, the highest consumption on rare wines, people paying cash for $325,000 cars and cash for homes. Corporations make 22,000% profit lobbying congress…

They successfully shifted the blame on wall street and enlisted brain dead morons to protest on wall street to divert the attention away from the real crime in America while soaking the American tax payer out of 16 trillion dollars.

They are held unaccountable for lying violating their oaths of office. They are unaccountable for crimes committed against the American people and the entire Congress is guilty of treason for their complicity in Obama’s crimes.

They have sworn to protect the Constitution and from all enemies foreign and domestic and are defying that oath on a daily basis with no accountability.

They are dividing a nation between rich and poor while they get richer and the poor poorer…

They have stolen the press, the education and healthcare system, the banks, religious freedom, the auto industry and now they are coming for our guns so that we are left defenseless to their criminal activities. Only criminals and the government will have the guns and there is no difference between the two

There is nothing more dangerous than an unaccountable government, not even armed citizens…

We need to stop blaming either party separately and see it as a joint effort by both to undermine the constitution to assure a one world order… Agenda 21. WTFU America! It’s in your face and you still refuse to see. We are staring at absolute corruption in government that is bankrupting your children’s futures for generations.

Unfortunately, there are too many people (for their own perception) that think Obama is a good president. I have talked to many and they like him, but can’t tell you why. However, they all appear to be taking something from the government in one way or another. On the hook, I guess.

      Actually if you check the records Reagan campaigned on NAFTA and tried to get it passed but the Mexicans balked leaving him to negotiate the Canadian American Free trade Agreement. After another Mexican economic crisis Salinas and Bush negotiated NAFTA under so-called fast track legislation. Clinton could not change it and his slimy campaign of lies got it ratified but it was always a Republican plan.

No, it isn’t. I think the economy has been VERY far in the tank for four years now, and I see that the principal reason for it being so is still pushing the parade over the cliff. So, it will NOT improve. Should you want to belive the nos. coming out of Washington, I’d also remember how many lies, distortions, and outright coverups they’ve pushed in that same period. As they say, “Consider the source. Then disregard it.”

Where were those complains on inflationary housing as many were buying bigger or refinancing vacations. They are just as guilty to destroying this economy. Although the Obamanomics spending program is toxic, the selling out of the USA began long before BHO came on the scene. Both parties have played a role, and the Fed Reserve is the 800 pound gorilla in the room. The crazy train has left the station and is headed for the REAL fiscal cliff. Obama ( or whoever he really is) is just the latest engineer of said train.

I don’t believe the MSM lies about a “recovery” for a moment because, as a freelance artist, I’ve had the worst past few months business-wise of my current career in many, many years. Even my wholesale customers are suffering, as I’ve had the fewest jobs from them in years. Artists live off of others’ disposable income, and I can tell you that there isn’t much of that around to be had these days. Most any job or business that depends on disposable income is suffering these days, even though I sell entirely online and have the whole world at my disposal for finding customers. In fact, I have gotten more orders and commissions from people OUTSIDE the US than domestically since Obama has been in office, especially for larger, more expensive pieces. I’m just an artist but I know exactly what is going on economy-wise and they can’t fool me.

Obama’s policies are deliberate, not a lack of understanding. If you look at the entire forest instead of just a few trees, what is happening is a very deliberate weakening and undermining of this nation. As far as the economy goes, forget the enthusiasm in the markets today and focus on GDP and jobs. Things are not good at all and we could, repeat could, see a very large collapse at some point, especially if we fail to deal with an out-of-control national debt caused by equally out-of-control federal spending. Every single Obama policy has been anti-business since he took office regardless of any phony rhetoric to the contrary. Don’t listen to his words for they are often meaningless and contradictory. Look at his actions. They spell out his ideology very clearly, and it is not traditional American ideology at all.

This article tells truth, which I hear not often these days. Thank you. We here in Canada are now seeing in the US these new ACO with your hospitals, which is basically a denial of service program mainly aimed at the elderly. This strives to reward hospitals for not readmitting patients, and doing fewer tests, etc., etc., etc. We saw this in the UK too when we lived there. Evil is as evil does, and frankly we see more evil in the Obama administration, and in most in congress, than in Russia, France, Germany, the UK, and I could throw in Zimbabwe too, but you get the point. We love the US, and we are citizens too, so this is from someone who has lived in other countries, but loves America best, yet is sick, sick, sick with what is happening there, voted in by Americans! Being destroyed from within. So very sad.

  Nobody lives forever and most sickly elderly spend the vast majority of their healthcare in the last 6 months of their lives. Canada and the UK are just facing facts. In fact, instead of cancer cures that don’t we should give people an around the world airline ticket and morphine – it would be cheaper and they would be happier in their last years or months alive compared to the useless suffering many terminally ill cancer patients go through.

There is an excellent book called “The Creature from Jekyll Island” that tells the dirty story of how the Federal Reserve got its start, and how they conned Wilson to get him to fall for their tricks. Sorry, I don’t remember the author’s name right offhand, I know that Amazon has the book. The first 100 or so pages is enough to raise your blood pressure about 50 points…
