While it’s rare in this day and age for legislation to pass with overwhelming bipartisan support, the fiscal cliff deal passed the Senate Monday night by a 89-8 vote. So who were the eight Senators that voted no?

I have bombarded my members of Congress for the past several years using that argument; that they cannot push this debt burden onto our kids and grandkids while still claiming to have any honor. Every single one of them who continue the insane spending should bow their heads in shame and be shunned by the nation.

It is great that 5 Republican Senators rejected the Fiscal Cliff Deal. They are the ones to watch in future – the true Conservatives. And, they are very smart politicians. This action really made them stand out. The sheepols who passed the bill were not too smart. They are just part of the herd now – a bunch of unknowns.

        No I am not saying that. What I am saying is that there are only two types of citizens, natural born and naturalized. Natural born means you are born on US soil and the nationality of the parents does not matter. The Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution was enacted to guarantee the right to citizenship for all persons born within the United States which Rubio was (Miami, FL, May 28, 1971). Please don’t anyone start citing the argument about the antiquated Vattel’s Law of Nations (written in 1758 by Frenchman Emerich de Vattel) which it is “supposed” that the founding fathers were following but no documented proof of that exists. For many years the test has been born on American soil, period.

      If both his father and mother are citizens when he was born in the U.S. he is anatural born citicen. If either was not a citizen, or he was not born in the U.s. he is not natural born citizen. that is why Obama is not a natural born citizen, his father is not an american.
      The supreme court keeps saying the people bring suit do not have standing. Congress must say that any American citizen has standing to bring aconstitutional question before the court.

    Ok so here is my plan for success. We pick a candidate early, like last week. Then we all get behind him and push. We follow this by eliminating any primary candidate so that there is no primary. Then we push and push. We get every man woman and child that can walk and talk and we push. From what I saw most of Mitt Romney’s damage was caused in the Primary. All Obozo had to do was ride out the storm. It is my belief that many of the Dems voted in the Rebublican primary in the 2008 just so that we could have McCain. We need to stop the infighting and push for a winner. Anyone in the GOP would be better than Obozo.

I will say this much. I will actively campaign for ANYONE who runs against these two. I understand that coburn has term limited himself to two terms and he is out of there GOOD RIDANCE. I really don’t think that people understand what is happening here.
Both parties are to blame for this stupid fiscal cliff garbage. The
country would have been much much better off if it had gone “over the
cliff”. Instead of continuing to run trillion dollar deficits year after
year they would have been forced to cut programs and pork to stay
within a much tighter budget. I heard that it would have been a couple
hundred billion deficit allowed instead of a trillion + . With what is
going on there is absolutely No way to prevent a huge correction from
occurring. You are going to see runaway inflation and drastic fiscal
action being forced on the government when they can no longer borrow.
