Even though the 2012 presidential election was two months ago, President Obama is still campaigning, as his camp sent out an email today urging supporters to remain part of the “movement” by participating in an inauguration weekend conference.

The Obama Campaign Legacy Conference will be “a discussion about how we’ll work together to support our president and address the issues we all care about,” the email — titled “What’s Next” and sent by Obama for America Campaign Manager Jim Messina — reads. He lists immigration, gun violence and climate change as possible issues to address.

The overarching goal of the conference is “to help [Obama] get things done, but also to help change how things get done in Washington in the first place,” Messina writes.

The conference will be held in D.C., but faraway supporters can participate online and help “firm up the structure and leadership of the new organization,” according to the email. Links are provided for interested people to stay informed about the upcoming proceedings.
