Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) insisted that Kathleen Sebelius’ exit from the top post at the Department of Health and Human Services will not end conservatives’ battle against ObamaCare.

“We are going to repeal every single word of Obamacare,” he told a crowd of conservatives at the New Hampshire Freedom Summit, a gathering of conservative activists and leaders hosted by Americans for Prosperity and Citizens United.Cruz, a potential 2016 presidential contender, told reporters earlier that Sebelius’ resignation does “not remotely” end the ObamaCare fight.He also pushed back against suggestions from some pundits, and statements from Sebelius herself, that her departure came because of what Democrats saw as the successful completion of the open enrollment period for the law.

“The greatest lie the media tries to play is to try to convince us the American people don’t believe the values this country stands for. It’s simply not true,” he said.
