A Democratic strategist said that while there is a lot of support for Hillary Rodham Clinton to run for president in 2016, the party will be able to field another great candidate if she decides not to run.

“We have great governors, we have a sitting vice president, I think we’ll be OK,” said Roddell Mollineau, a former spokesman for Majority Leader Harry Reid. “But there’s a lot of support, grassroots and otherwise, for Hillary Clinton to run for president.”

In other 2016 speculation, Mr. Mollineau said Mrs. Clinton and former Fla. Gov. Jeb Bush are “the two adults in the room” among names being circulated of possible presidential candidates.
