Military members and their families were overjoyed when they heard the news that General James “Mad Dog” Mattis was headed to Washington.

Mattis’ role as Secretary of Defense under Donald Trump has been uncannily busy, as the controversial President has attracted his share of attention from foreign powers.  Between Russia’s virtual insistence on a second Cold War, and China’s constant bratty scolding of Trump, you’d think the General would have resorted to drinking by now.

Then you add Asian wildcard Kim Jong Un into the mix, and you have a recipe for disaster.  That’s why Mad Dog isn’t mincing his words as it pertains to Pyongyang.

“After years of North Korea thumbing its nose at the international community, on Friday Defense Secretary James Mattis appeared to signal enough was enough.

“‘Right now, [North Korea] appears to be going in a very reckless manner … and that has got to be stopped,’ Mattis said at a press conference in London.
