When MSNBC’s “The Cycle” hosted a wine-tasting segment for this Valentine’s Day, you had to know at least one progressive panelist would imbibe too much and say something regrettable. And during a segment on Black History Month Touré didn’t disappoint, suggesting that a “lack of awareness” among white Americans about their privilege means we “should give white people their own race card.”

Touré described Black History Month as a “sort of affirmative action for facts — that one month were black facts are ushered to the front of the bus, and then in March, it’s back to the back of the bus.”

He complained about those who see a double standard and ask why there cannot be a White History Month.
