In a recent article by educator Thomas Sowell, he stated:
“Like other truly talented phonies, Barack Obama concentrates his skills on the effect of his words on other people — most of whom do not have the time to become knowledgeable about the things he is talking about. Whether what he says bears any relationship to the facts is politically irrelevant.”
Talented phony is a gross understatement when speaking about Barack Hussein Obama. We still have no proof of his birth and citizenship, his Social Security Number is fraudulent along with his Selective Service registration form. There is strong reason to believe that he was enrolled as an Indonesian citizen who received federal aid while attending Occidental College. Everything about him reeks of being a phony, an imposter and a usurper.
As Sowell stated, Obama concentrates on his skill of his words. So let’s look at his own words when it comes to the legal right of the President of the United States to take military action without the approval of Congress.
In 2007, when Obama was launching his presidential campaign, he told the Boston Globe:
“The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”
“It is always preferable to have the informed consent of Congress prior to any military action.”
He went on to say that the only legal way the president can take military action without the consent of Congress is in instances of self-defense when the US is being directly threatened.
